So. A bit of good news this morning.
Those perpetual prophets of doom, the Canadian Council on Learning are running out of money.

It would be okay to have one less voice telling us old people can't read, our kids are stupid, parents are negligent, literacy workers ineffectual and our schools are a complete waste of space.
Or maybe that's just me.
Anyway, the bad news is Paul Cappon wants us to create and fund a new organization (he calls it an intergovernmental council) to, you know, track stuff, complain full time and mutter dark warnings like this:
